Development Director (Maternity Cover)
This world-renowned orchestra is pleased to announce an exciting opportunity to direct the fundraising at an important time, leading on a number of new initiatives. Resident at Southbank Centre’s Royal Festival Hall, the Philharmonia is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Development Director (Maternity Cover) to implement the revenue fundraising strategy to raise over £2m and lead an experienced Development department. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of the senior management team in a dynamic, creative organisation and to oversee a number of major campaigns and events.
Terms: Maternity Cover from September 2012 for 6 to 12 months
Hours: 9.30am – 5.30pm, 5 days per week, with additional evenings and weekends as required

HGV Driver Class One / Stage Assistant
The Philharmonia Orchestra is seeking an HGV Driver / Stage Assistant to join its Transport and Stage team. Candidates must have a full HGV class one licence, and a digi card, European driving experience would be preferred but not essential. Duties are assisting with the driving and loading and unloading of vehicle, carrying daily checks and cleaning of vehicles and to assist with stage setting.
Salary: £17,000 per annum plus expenses
Hours: 48 hours per week, 5 over a 7 day rota days including evenings and nights
Location: Croydon, Surrey CR0
Start date: ASAP. The position includes a three month probationary period.
